SHAMANIC ASTROLOGY:

Shamanic Astrology takes you into your natal chart to the centre of the wheel.
This perspective I call the Magicians Seat. Being seated in the middle of the chart we can see the placements of our natal planets from a very different point of view. Firstly we claim our wheel as our ritual space, our personal choice of who we want to be as symbolised by our planetary placements.

Then we journey via meditation and movement into the placements of each planet beginning with the personal planets. This experience of the wheel tells us how our energy is programmed. We feel where we move around the wheel when we react to our lives. This offers us the opportunity to explore all our options and maybe even re route some of the lesser productive aspects of our patterning.

In doing this work I find Astrology speaks its own language . What an Astrologer may tell us in a reading, we can experience and in turn tell the Astrologer the same concepts through our own self discovery.

I will be offering the experience of Shamanic Astrology in two formats throughout 2010.

Format 1- One on One personal sessions.
I offer six personal ongoing one hour sessions to be completed over a period of 10 weeks.
The costs of these sessions is $280.
Session 1 is $80 followed by 5 sessions @$40 per session



Format 2- A Series of Six Workshops
1. Astrology Wheel as a Ritual Wheel-
This workshop introduces the concept of the Magicians Seat and the signs as pure energetic form made up of element and mode. We will explore the four major angles of the chart to discover your own personal ritual wheel.

2. Earth Walks
Explores the Sun Sign through the concept of what is my purpose?
The polarity of the Sun Sign illuminates our shadow self and we explore the walk of self and purpose to the shadow.

3. Trilogy of spirit/mind.
In Astrology the Sun, Mercury and Venus journey closely together.
Taking the seat of each of these three placements we learn to distinguish the relationship within of purpose, mind and desire.

4. Core Trilogy
Sun Moon Ascendant . The heart of the being and how it responds emotionally and what we allow others to see. Knowledge gained from this workshop is profound with regarded to self and relating to others

5. .Duality of Love and Achievement
Venus and Mars explain to us how our desire nature is functioning and how we manifest our desires into actions. This workshop explores sexuality, anger, jealousy and what success is to us.

6. Puppet of the Personal Planets
We have made a journey through the personal planets. We now can walk our whole personal structure. We begin to understand the concept of circuits and how they are programmed within the chart.

These workshops run for two hours. They do not have to be taken in numerical order however to fully understand the concept of Shamanic Astrology it is advisable to start at the first and continue at your leisure.

Even though these workshops focus on the personal planets, the outer planets are considered by the aspects they make to the personal planets.
They will be running at various venues and in intensive formats throughout the year .
The cost of each individual workshop is $75.
